This is a MANDATORY form that must be completed at least every 2 years. This is done to protect the players and anyone else involved in youth soccer. This is a statewide program that must be completed before anyone can be involved with the program in any position, whether coach, assistant coach, referee or any other volunteer including the Board. Hard to believe, but fall, yes fall, is rushing toward us full steam ahead. Registration for fall soccer recreation league is in full swing and will close registration on August 18th. There may be additional spots available after that date but registrations will be accepted on a first come-space available basis and will cost $40.00 per registration.

New Rules for Soccer Parents:
1) No Yelling.
2) No Hitting Ref.

CHICAGO — The taunts from the parents and the coaches always got to him. They rained like showers of sparks from the sidelines: Get your fat body down the field. You're blind. You're just doing this for the money.
While play is in the penalty area in front of the lead assistant referee, that assistant raises the flag with a waggle. When the referee on the far side of the penalty area blows the whistle, the assistant walks to the corner flag and stands at attention. What is the assistant referee signaling?
Keeper B1 comes out of the penalty area to defend a breakaway by A9. A9 successfully eludes B1 and continues toward the goal, but is intercepted by B2 near the goalline. B2 tackles the ball away from A9 and knocks the ball up-field. B1, who was outside the penalty area but is running back toward the play, picks up the ball inside the area marked by the penalty arc.
The "New Guys" soccer team, made up of adult aged players that include former high school players, coaches and parents, shut-out the "Reloaded" team from Kokomo on Monday, June 4, 2007. Anybody wanting to see how soccer should be played, especially the younger players in our community, are encouraged to come out and watch. Who knows, you might learn something.
The U-12 season came to a close this weekend with a Saturday home game and a Sunday game at Logansport. Although the record might not indicate it, we had a very successful season. We played Noblesville early in the season and again on Saturday.
The Rossville U16 Girls wrapped up their season this past weekend on a winning note, but not before suffering a loss on Saturday. The Fusion made the trip to Rossville on Saturday and left with a 3-1 win. The Hornets were plagued by a lackluster performance as they were out hustled and beaten to every ball.
